Jeffrey Smith -- Label GMOs speaker training workshop

GMO Labeling Speaker Training with Jeffrey Smith

Monday, July 30th 6:30 – 9:30pm Pacific Time
Pleasant Hill Co-housing Great Room
2200 Lisa Lane
Pleasant Hill, CA 94523

Jeffrey M. Smith is the leading spokesperson on the health dangers of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). He documents how the world’s most powerful Ag biotech companies bluff, bully, and mislead critics, and put the health of society at risk. He's the author of the bestselling books Seeds of Deception and Genetic Roulette.

Join Jeffrey Smith for the GMO Labeling Speaker Training course - specially designed for California volunteers -  in person in Pleasant Hill, CA, and online via LiveStream, or watch the recording at your leisure!

The first session (three more to follow) is standalone, and does not require additional training in order for you to be better prepared to speak to friends and small groups. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn from the leading spokesperson on GMO health dangers.

You will learn:
1.    Five components of a GMO presentation, and key concepts to convey;
2.    Key arguments in favor of labeling GMOs;
3.    Fact-based counter arguments that effectively respond to Monsanto’s disinformation campaign already underway; and
4.    Highly motivating facts and stories that enlist support for GMOs and motivate non-GMO eating.

Cost for the training is $20 (to support our operating costs), but a number of scholarships are available based on financial need.
