Santa Cruz- Jeffrey Smith & Ocean Robbins "Speaking Out for Healthier Food: The Truth about GMOs"

What are GMOs and why do you need to know?  Join us to find out!

Approximately 75% of processed foods in the US contain GMOs - also known as genetically modified organisms, or genetically engineered foods - and most of us us eat these on a daily basis without even knowing it.

Get the facts -- Join us to for a discussion from internationally renowned speakers Jeffrey Smith and Ocean Robbins about the growing evidence of GMO safety concerns in our food, and the importance of voting “Yes” for the November initiative that would require labeling of foods with genetically engineered ingredients. Smith is the leading expert on the health dangers of GMOs. Robbins was chosen by Time and Audubon magazines as a hero of the new millennium, and one of 30 “Young Visionaries” under 30 by the Utne Reader.
