Back To The Fight Against GMOs

If you think this country is run by corporations rather than the will of the people, here’s a great opportunity to take some of our power back!

Despite the fact that U.S. polls consistently show that over 90% of Americans want labeling of genetically engineered foods (GMOs), neither the federal government nor any state government has been able to enact required labeling.  So far Connecticut and Maine passed GMO labeling bills that would only take effect when other states passed them.

A $10 gift: Make someone smile & help the bees by funding education on GMOs

When I started traveling around the state in 2011 for Prop 37 one of the people I met early on was a woman named Mary, from Santa Barbara. She was an early supporter of GMO labeling and was particularly concerned by the plight of the bees.

Mary and her husband have spent more than a year working on a project to raise money for environmental non-profits. It's a new $10 gift idea called a Boxai, which is getting a lot of attention and was just featured on MSNBC TV in their annual review of "Gifts that Give Back."
